Jenny's View
La Fonda’s San Francisco street facade changed significantly when owners, Sam and Ethel Ballen agreed to let a café owner install beautiful windows – filling the café with natural light. Approximately thirty years later, the French Pastry Shop has become nearly as legendary as the hotel itself, offering the perfect place to watch the bustle of downtown Santa Fe.

Sneak Peek: Renovation Update
Historic photos of La Fonda guestrooms show elaborately stitched bedspreads and curtains.
