SAVANNAH, Ga. (April 20, 2018)Andaz Savannah, located in the heart of Savannah’s historic district and one of the city’s most stylish retreats, announces the completion of an extensive transformation of its 151 guestrooms and suites. With a design philosophy focused on weaving the sights and sounds of Savannah, also known as the “Hostess City of the South,” the city’s Southern charm was the inspiration behind Andaz Savannah’s renovations. Nods to the magic of Savannah’s charming squares, its romantic Spanish moss, and historic architecture are now showcased throughout the luxury boutique hotel’s spacious, residential-style accommodations.

“The dramatic enhancement of Andaz Savannah’s 151 guestrooms and suites strengthens the connection our hotel has with its host city,” said Erin Henry, General Manager of Andaz Savannah. “Coupled with the continued guidance of the hotel’s friendly, knowledgeable staff, our design refresh ensures that guests from the community and around the world enjoy the unique heritage of Savannah. Thanks to this redesign, and our reputation for warm hospitality, our hotel will continue to remain a leader in a competitive marketplace.”

Considered one of the most vibrant destinations in the world, Savannah is known for its rich history, distinct arts and cultural scenes, diverse cuisine, and shopping and entertainment experiences, making it a top choice for business and leisure travelers.

THE STORY OF SAVANNAH Andaz Savannah’s new guestrooms and suites exhibit a color palette that is rooted in its surroundings. The hotel features moss green hues that conjure the beauty of Savannah’s moss trees. Faded blush colors and rich gem tones, seen prominently in the city’s historic architecture, are accented by a crisp background of white and dark grays throughout the spaces, evoking the way colors of Savannah pop after a midday rain shower.

A RESIDENTIAL RESTYLE INSPIRED BY HISTORY Challenging the popular notion that form should meet function, Andaz Savannah’s redesigned guestrooms and suites also feature a variety of custom pieces that give the spaces a residential sensibility. From custom mantles that double as television credenzas to dressers inspired by kitchen islands, sophisticated travelers will delight in surroundings that rethink the ordinary. The materials and imagery in Andaz Savannah’s accommodations feature an eclectic mix of metals, woods, and textiles, emphasizing items that grow character over time.

Adding to the home away from home sensibility of the hotel’s accommodations, all guestrooms and suites feature a convenient minibar stocked with complimentary snacks and non-alcoholic beverages, including chips, granola bars, bottled water, assorted juices and sodas, as well as coffee and tea. Additional beer, wine and spirits are available for purchase, including brews from veteran owned and operated Service Brewing Co., a craft brewery located within walking distance from Andaz Savannah.

The recent redesign of Andaz Savannah’s guestrooms and suites follows the extensive renovation of the hotel’s public areas introduced as part of its 2012 opening, which brought forth the property’s chic farm-to-table eatery 22 Square. The hotel’s Andaz Studio spaces offer 4,075 square feet of flexible function space and complement a 2,613 square-foot outdoor pool terrace, which serves as a popular space for weddings and social celebrations.

Andaz Savannah is owned by Xenia Hotels and Resorts, a real estate investment trust that invests primarily in premium full service and lifestyle hotels.
