As part of a new series of salons for 2016, The Betsy will host Yiddish Speakers' Salons on Sundays throughout the year. Yiddish is spoken; bagels and lox will be served.
On February 21, the salon welcomes Dr. Holli Levitsky, Director of the Jewish Studies Program and a professor of English at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles. Dr. Levitsky will discuss her 2015 book, Summer Haven: The Catskills, The Holocaust, and the Literary Imagination.
