We are excited to host a concert by young pianist and composer Michael Anderson at Graylyn on August 16. Michael will be playing songs from his new album Portrait of Youth in the Manor House Living Room. Tour Pour Du Jour

The Graylyn Estate is excited to offer Tour Pour Du Jour. Guests will be taken back in time during a guided tour of the home while they enjoy Graylyn's select house wines. Learn about the Gray's beginnings in Winston-Salem, and how Graylyn is being used today We will give you a look into the family's rich history, and even let you in on some of the mysteries that lie beneat the ground and within the walls.

Chef Rollin's Bacon Cream Cheese Stuffed Mushroom Caps
Frozen Watermelon Margarita
 
Ingredients:
  1 1/2 ounces Premium Blanco Tequila
  1 ounce Triple Sec
  1/2 ounce lime juice
  1/2 cup seedless watermelon
  1 cup crushed ice (not cubed)
  Watermelon wedge for garnish

Directions:
   1. Put all of the ingedients in a blender.
  2. Run the machine for 20-30 using high power.
  3. Turn off the blender and amke sure the blades are not moving.
  4. Stir with a long spoon.
  5. Blend one more time. 
  6. When you hear the machine's stress level go down, turn it off. 
  7. Serve and enjoy!

Tips:
  Use crushed ice instead of cubed ice and make sure it is dry and well       frozen, not watery ice. This will prevent the margarita from becoming     lumpy or watery.
