Live at La Fonda Steve Piersol has led the band for more than 20 years, and heads a tight group consisting of Bobbie Fleming on keyboards, Stuart Rosenberg on bass, and either Steve Linger or Tim Valentine on guitar. Phil Scollard and Josh English sit in on drums. The high-energy mix includes both classic covers and the band’s originals.
Piersol’s other love is custom guitars, and he just moved his popular shop High Desert Guitars from Guadalupe Street to the Second Street complex near Back Road Pizza. He invites guitar-lovers to come browse his great selection of guitars and amps in all price ranges, made by dozens of custom builders.
“We’re still keeping people happy and on the dance floor,” keyboardist Fleming says. “We invite everyone to come dance at our next La Fonda gig, August 6-7. We’ve got some new tunes – it’ll be fun!”
