Halter Ranch
 Halter Ranch is a new winery with a rich history. Located on Adelaida Road, on the west side of Paso Robles, the property dates to the 1880s, when it was part of a 3,000-acre ranch owned by Paso Robles pioneer Edwin Smith. The Beautiful Victorian farmhouse Smith built in 1885 remains a Westside Paso Robles Landmark.
In 2000, Swiss-born businessman Hansjorg Wyss fell in love with the Paso Robles area and purchased 900 acres of the original ranch. Fervently committed to quality, they have focused on developing the estate vineyard, renovating the historic barns and farmhouse, and designing a new state-of-the-art winery.
The vineyard is planted to many different grape varieties-both Bordeaux and Rhone-style, plus Zinfandel, Tannat and Tempranillo. In 2008 Halter Ranch was designated Certified Sustainable in all their farming and winemaking operations.
You are invited to visit Halter Ranch to see their beautiful vineyard, sample their world-class wines, and enjoy a relaxing taste of old California.

This is the 27th Annual Paso Robles Wine Festival, the marquee wine tasting event held along California's Central Coast.
The Festival this year features more than 90 wineries pouring their best in the quaint Paso Robles Downtown City Park. Wine country cuisine and artisan foods are a true complement to the more than 400 wines being featured at this celebration. Music will resonate through the park on this spring day and the only thing missing is you.
